Aqua // Terra / 09.2016 - 05.2018

In collaboration with Rachel Braude & Ellie Sillett

Aqua // Terra is the title of the thesis project which ran over the two years of my architectural masters undertaken at the University of Edinburgh.

The project - situated in the old city of Havana - considered the significant consequences of tourism on the old city, within the context of Cuba slowly shifting from a communist nation to a capitalist one.

The work for the 2 year thesis project was conducted as part of a group allowing a highly rigorous research methodology to be adopted. A large scale final exhibition space was constructed in order to display the work which consisted of a series of highly crafted furniture-like research tools [of which Plotter MkII was one].
