Plotter MkII / 04.2018

Conceived as a research tool to assist masters of architecture thesis project [Aqua Terra], Plotter MkII builds on a passion for machine building.

The design of the machine is bespoke, employing what materials and tools were available and, where possible recycled or reclaimed parts were used.

The machine is operated using an Arduino Uno board which runs GRBL, an open source piece of software used to control CNC machines.

The final iteration of the machine had a print area approximately 2100mm x 600mm.
